Best Moving Wallpaper App in the Store.
Hands down the best. And I’ve been trying them all for years. This one I’ve been using for a couple of months, and it is an absolute game changer.
The scenes are simply breathtaking, surreal ─ and there are dozens more available for easy, free download, ensuring that you’ll never get bored. Many of the timelapses look like flat images at first glance, depending of course on the speed settings. Then you notice that they’re *moving*, often so smoothly and gradually that you just end up staring at your screen for minutes at a time, trying to track the subtle changes. One of the very best apps of any kind for the Mac.
If I could ask for one thing (and this is not a criticism but a request for enhancement), it would be that the transitions wouldn’t be quite so jarring when a looping scene reverts. This is a problem for some scenes more than others, but it would be nice if there was a gradual fade, or better yet if there was an option to let it run backwards back to the beginning, making for a single endless, seamless scene. Some of the time lapses, like the Yosemite Seqouoias, the Aurora Borealis Scenes, and many of the water scenes and landscapes, would be PERFECT with this effect. Even many of the city scenes work work with it, as you often can’t tell direction of movement for fast-moving things anyway. :)
I’ve never been a fan of a particular software company before, but between Magic Window, Magic Window 4K, Ambiance and Living Earth, this company has my undivided attention.
