impossible to download the update

Very good tools, but since a month impossible to update it. I will put back 5 stars when update download will work

Magic and beautiful

I like the great landscapes variety. There is one for everyone’s taste for sure. High definition quality, beautiful colors, light effects, well chosen shooting scenes… Icing on the cake: the support team is gentle and quick. However, if I was really picky, I would say there is a little drawback for those who runs the app on MBP 2008-2012 having a integrated intel / discrete « power hungry » nvidia-type graphic cards couple. The app requires the discrete card, and there is no easy way to run it only on integrated chip to save battery life. A workaround is to force integrated usage BEFORE launching the app, but it’s not vey handy. Anyway, a fix is in progress.

New feature sugestion

A sugestion for a new feature is if the application match with the time clock of computer. For example: If the clock of user machine is marking 6:00pm, the image of scene is near, or closest to 6:00pm. This will brings a new reality sensation of application. I sincerely thinked this when I bought this app.

Motive von der Westküste der USA sind schöne Erinnerungen

I stayed in June 2010 in many areas on the west coast of the United States. The pictures of "Magic Windows" are a beautiful reminder of that time.

Nice App, but some things could be better!

I seriously love this App, and I use it all the time since i purchased it. Also, I recomment this App to everybody, especially for that low price. But: It would be nice if the App would change the original Background immage, because if you use features like the lunch pad or mission control, the old background is still visible. I also would apreciate if you guys could get rid of the symbol in the top-bar, so there is no symbol/ icon neither in the dock nor in the top (nice rhyme) visible. An alternative would be o put the settings to the system preferences. Thank you for a soon update!

Its perfect, but...

Its perfect, the pictures are really nice and the quality is perfect. With an ongoing support (new videos) this is my favourite app for the mac! BUT unfortunately changing screens with Lion is really ugly because the magic windows wallpaper do not pop up immediately. Additionally I would love to have "real" movies - these are only pictures and when people or birds are on the pictures it is more like a dia show. Just put some videos online, they also can have a size of 1-2 GB!

Awful

Glitch wont even let me use it total waste of my money

Dont buy it.

This program very heavy for screen. Themes from 30 mb to 100 mb. I dont recomend it.

I like it

It runs on my iMac with no noticeable impact on the computer. Activity Monitor shows it cycles between 2.6% and 3.7% of the CPU resources when set at the normal speed setting. If I bump the speed up to the fastest setting the CPU usage goes up to 5.6 to 8.3%. That doesnt seem like a heavy load … maybe Im wrong?? It sure is pretty with lots of detail. Lights come on as the sun sets and airplanes streak across the sky. Its a keeper for me.

Must have !

For people like me, enjoy nice view around the world, this is a MUST HAVE app, i dont usually leave common….but this, man, this is darn good, for 40 Moving Wallpaper, $2.99 is just simply great.

great, but more nature, less cityscape

More nature scenes, please! I do cherish the absurdity of displaying natural beauty on my big beautiful computer displays in my extremely urban home office. Otherwise the app seems to basically be perfect. I was particularly pleased by the multi-display support. Those of us with more than one big display are often marginalized, poor things. 1st world problems, eh? PROCESSOR USAGE IS FINE: the reviewer who thinks this app runs "heavy" is confused about something. It runs lean. I monitor my CPU usage like the geek that I am, and I have no concerns whatsoever about how many cycles this app is using.

cool app

beautiful timelapse right on your desktop… but you would want to download most if not all the packs to get a nice and varied desktop. if you dont mind downloading all the packs… im guessing, but they would probably fill up to over 1 gb for all the packs.

Excellent.

I am quite satisfied with this application. I would like a shuffle function where it shuffles between color effects and scene selections together, so one may be skyline and sepia color effect and the next mountains and normal color effect.

awesome

I run this app on my macbook air and I love it! Its beautiful.

Magic On My Desktop ............... by Bagman

This APP is simple ........ easy to operate ......... real actual sun rise/sets ........ great variety of scenic views ... beautiful ! & always changing ..

Some Pretty Pictures; Some Un-Pretty Pictures

Some of the pictures are nice, but honestly I dont see what the big deal is about this app. I also agree there are not enough of the nature scenes. Sorry, but Id only be interested in the L.A. skyline if I lived in L.A. (and even then, maybe not.) or the loading area of Bostons airport? What the heck is that doing in here?! Developers: Add more nature, and Ill give more stars! Also, itd be cool if there were some images of some of the wonders of the world (modern, ancient, and natural, i.e.. the pyramids, the grand canyon, niagra falls, the eifel tower, that sort of thing) As it is now, I dont think its really worth the $2.99 I paid.

Takes too many CPU

Makes the computer veeeeeery hot. Just like the beach scene.

Heavy CPU for mobile users

I wouldnt recommend it for Mobile users. Slowest setting reports 8% up to 15% usage on my MBP 15" 2011 Quad Core.

Great

Looks cool. Nice to switch things up a little. Would recommend it if u make more then $2.99 a day

Great app, with annoying bug

Doesnt pause on battery power when unplugging macbook on sleep mode. To fix, I must manually change preferences to "never pause", then back to "pause on battery power". Please fix!
